Warehousing & logistics

Inventory across Japan and the United States, plus an established supplier network, with availability recorded per item per location.

Catalogue is not inventory

These are two different things, and conflating them is the most common failure in parts distribution websites. The catalogue describes what we can supply. Availability describes where an item can be obtained and how quickly. An item we do not currently hold is still an item worth quoting, which is why nothing on this site ever says "out of stock".

Where we hold no position on an item, it reads "Contact for Current Availability" — an invitation, not a dead end.

Why quantities are not published

Exact warehouse quantities are commercially sensitive and move continuously. Publishing them would expose our position to competitors and would be wrong within the hour. Account holders receive a dated availability file with quantities, lead times and minimum order quantities instead.

Shipping

Air freight for urgent service parts, LCL consolidation for mixed orders, and full container loading for programme supply. Hazardous goods — oils, chemicals, some batteries and pressurised items — carry shipping restrictions that we confirm at quotation rather than discovering at despatch.
