Export compliance

Our position on export controls, destination restrictions and market specification.

Draft — pending legal review. This page is a working draft prepared alongside the site build. It reflects how the site actually operates, but it has not been reviewed by qualified legal counsel and is not a substitute for advice. It must be reviewed and adopted before launch.

Supply is conditional

We supply internationally, but not unconditionally. Every enquiry is assessed against destination, end use and the nature of the goods before we quote.

Export controls and sanctions

We comply with applicable export control and sanctions regimes in the jurisdictions we operate in. We will not quote or supply where doing so would breach them. Some components — particularly certain electronics and control systems — carry screening requirements, and items subject to those are flagged in the catalogue.

Destination restrictions

Some goods cannot be shipped to some destinations, and some cannot be shipped by some modes. Hazardous goods — oils, greases, certain chemicals, some batteries and pressurised components — are regulated for transport, and the applicable classification and permitted mode are confirmed at quotation rather than at despatch.

Market specification

A model designation does not establish market eligibility. Engines built for different markets are different products with different compliance positions, and this site treats them as separate catalogue records with separate compliance fields.

  • We do not represent an international-specification engine as a United States-specification engine.
  • We do not infer emissions eligibility from a model name.
  • We do not assume that a federally acceptable engine is California eligible.

Where our records do not carry documented evidence of a compliance status for a specific configuration, the field reads "not evaluated" rather than asserting a position we cannot support.

The importer's responsibility

Where you import into a regulated market, responsibility for establishing compliance and obtaining any required approvals sits with the importer. We will tell you what documentation we can provide for the exact configuration you are buying, and we would rather answer that at quotation stage than have goods held at a border.
